Sigh.
Hubby fell asleep on the couch and I was too embarrassed to ask him to come to bed (and he's usually grumpy), so until he joined me on his own, I slept with the light on.
It's really not that scary, but I'd close my eyes and imagined cold clammy hands coming to get my neck, or my toes, whatever was out of the covers, and freaked. So... note to self: don't read vampire books late at night!
Don't forget, there's two ways you can win a copy of The Emerald Talisman
Good luck!
Now back to writing and reading... in the daylight.
Hugs,
Brenda
Bravo! ^_^ I can definitely identify with your mindset. I had to sleep with the light on once or twice, especially after watching bits and pieces of Jurassic Park. *shudder*
ReplyDeleteAs this is my first comment, I reckon I ought to say that--just for the record--I've grown weary of the vampire novels since Twilight has become all the rage in YA fiction. But. What the heck. There's always the gem (pun entirely intended) in the trough if you have the stomach to look for it.
So I'm gonna give your book a read. :) Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Yeah Amelia! You'll have to let me know what you think! :)
