BLOG TOUR: Power by Kristie Cook-- Tristan and Owen Character Interview

Today I've stolen the men of Power, Tristan and Owen, for a  little quality time to find out what makes them tick.

Hi Guys. Thanks for stopping by. I know you've had a busy tour and don't have much time, so let's get started.

For both of you, what are quality traits you like in a woman?

Tristan: Integrity, intelligence, inner strength, determination, courage, and the ability to love unconditionally. I'm the furthest from perfect than anyone, but let's face it – men mess up. We do stupid things and make mistakes. We want to know our women will still love us when we do.

Owen: The big guy trumped me again. Not sure what else to add to that. For me, having mage blood used to be a requirement, too. My dad wanted to make sure my kids were powerful mages. I've been reconsidering that one, though…

For Tristian, was it love at first sight for Alexis? Or how did your feelings grow for her?

Tristan: There was definitely a connection at first sight. Actually, we've decided it was even before then, but I don't want to spoil anything. *winks* When you have this innate sense of people that all of our kind have, feelings grow quickly. I knew right away what kind of person she was and I'd always known what she would become. Then when I got to know her better…she had me wrapped around her finger.

Both: what's your greatest fear? Greatest joy? Fav past time activity?

Owen: Greatest fear – failing. Greatest joy – Dunno. Hard to come by these days. Favorite past time — Used to be surfing and beach volleyball, basketball sometimes, but don't have time for that anymore.

Tristan: Greatest fear – losing Alexis and Dorian. Greatest joy - *grins* My wife, naked. Favorite past time activity – see last answer and you'll figure it out.

Both: What's your advice for guys who want to be in a relationship?

Owen: You're asking the wrong dude. I'm good at a lot of things, but relationships isn't one of them.

Tristan: I'm no expert either. Alexis is the only one I've ever wanted. I think that relationship only happened because I was forced to take it slow with her. If I'd come onto her like I really wanted to…well, she'd probably use the words "creepy perv" and run away. I don't recommend being a creepy perv.

Both:Who gives Kristie the hardest time when she's writing?

Both, points at the other: He does.
Owen: Oh, c'mon, dude, you know you do. You're all screwed up.
Tristan, raising an eyebrow: And you're not? Who's being all sullen and silent these days?
Owen, scowling, mumbles something under his breath that isn't appropriate for this blog.
Kristie: You can both be a pain in my butt at any given time. You're men. It's par for the course.

Well, that was fun. Thanks for stopping by on the tour.

Now it's your turn. What do you think of the answers? How many of you would like to entertain Owen or Tristan for some one-on-one ... volleyball? *wink*

Not only is POWER awesome and power-packed (and you should get it RIGHT NOW), Kristie Cook is having a scavenger hunt along with her tour! Book Summary:
As the stakes rise, can she find her true power?
As the Amadis prepare for war, Alexis returns to Florida with orders to relax, regenerate and replenish her depleted power. But her task list quickly grows—establish a new safe house, learn the art of conversion, find her AWOL protector, help a desperate fan, and protect her son. Oh, and figure out what’s going on with her husband, whose peculiar behavior just might get them killed.
But most important of all, her primary mission: recover her stolen pendant.
The stone in the pendant not only promises hope for the Amadis future, but its unknown qualities make it a possible weapon in the wrong hands. With guidance and power from an improbable source and an unlikely ally by her side, Alexis sets out to retrieve the stone before the enemy discovers its potential for mass destruction. But when she finds herself in the Daemoni’s lair fighting for her life, all hope seems lost. Will she discover the true power she holds in time? And is it enough to save herself, her family and the Amadis?
Power, the next installment of the Soul Savers Series, takes you on a hot and edgy ride with twists and turns you’ll never see coming, leaving you breathless and once again begging for more.
